fall essentials

Image
Fall is one of my favourite seasons because of the fashion but also for the holidays and everything that goes along with them. Here are some of my fall essentials!

Fall Jacket

I just got this coat a few days ago and I've already worn it so many times! I think it's just a really good wardrobe staple and goes with pretty much everything.
Camel Coat
Face Masks

Fall weather is perfect for lazy sundays spent with a face mask on and watching the new season of stranger things! I've been loving the Blue Tansy mask from Herbivore Botanicals since resurfacing and detoxifying masks are my go to's.

Cream Eye Shadow

I have been using the Jillian Dempsey Lid Tint in Bronze non stop since I got it cause it is such a pretty colour and is so easy to use! I was also super excited when I got it since it was on ITG's top 25 list this year.

This year I've been a lot more in to lipstick and my go to has been the Ilia Tinted…

fall denim

Image
Denim is my ultimate wardrobe staple. It's classic and makes every outfit look effortless. I thought I'd show you some of the ways I'm wearing denim this fall!

My go to jeans as of recently have been these High Rise Ankle Crops from Re/Done's original collection! They're super comfy and they go with everything! My favourite way to wear them is with a tucked in white graphic tee and my Old Skool Vans.
I'll leave a link to Re/Done's website here! If you're looking for a good investment pair of jeans that will last you for a long time definitely check out their collection!

Denim jackets are also a huge fall staple for me! Maybe I'm biased cause I live in Canada and that's all anyone wears here (I'm kind of joking but not really) but I think it's the perfect jacket for fall! I love wearing them with culottes and a white tee or with black jeans and a cozy sweater.
If you want links to anything else just let me know! Xx Taylor

home decor haul (featuring society 6)

Image
For those of you who didn't know I recently started university and moved out for the first time into a dorm room. I thought I'd show you some of the pieces I picked up for back to school!
Notebooks

Stationary is one of my favourite things to collect cause truly you can never have too many notebooks. I absolutely loved picking out these two from Society 6 cause I love the designs and I love how the company supports artists.

Artwork

One of the things I was most excited about when decorating my dorm was picking out artwork for the walls. I think these prints just add so much to an otherwise boring white wall.

Mug

The last thing I got was this mug which is just a great essential, and it's super pretty!

Some Recent Skincare Favourites

Image
The summer went by so quickly this year and last week I actually moved in to my dorm room at university so sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been trying out some new skincare recently so I thought I'd show you some of my favourites.

One of my favourite fragrances is Replica Beach Walk from Maison Margiela and I was so excited to hear that they expanded the line to include a Shower Gel, Body Oil and Body Lotion. I love how each of the products work together to keep the fragrance on all day long!

The Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser has been a staple in my skincare routine since I got it because it's super gentle but takes off all your makeup! I have also been loving the Glossier Mega Greens Galaxy Pack which is a detoxifying face mask (aka my favourite type of face mask).

trip to nyc

Image
This past weekend I was in New York City on an end of summer trip so I thought I'd share some of my photos.

Bryant park is one of my favourite places in the city so I ended up spending a lot of time there just hanging out cause it's such a nice place to take a break from all the chaos.

Visiting the Glossier showroom was so amazing! It's even more beautiful in real life and I highly suggest you go if you're in nyc (but try and go on a day other than Saturday cause the wait was pretty long).

I also went to the Top of the Rock again cause the view is stunning, definitely a must see!

what to do in the last few weeks of summer

Image
Sadly summer is coming to an end with only about three weeks left but I thought I'd give you some ideas on what you can do to end the summer off on a high note!

1. Go to the beach again...cause chances are you've already been, but tbh it never really gets old
2. Have a picnic in your local park
3. Have a movie marathon with friends
4. Spend a day painting and creating artwork
5. Bake something

6. Create a new playlist for back to school
7. Go thrift/vintage shopping
8. Redecorate your bedroom
9. Go to a cafe/restaurant you've never been to before
10. Actually read the books you've had on your tbr shelf for forever
